The beauty trend du jour is something that takes nothing more than a bright, bold eyeliner color coupled with pure confidence. We’re talking about the under eye eyeliner look that was all over runways for this summer’s hottest makeup look. It’s all about that cat eyeliner look on top and a bold blush of color on the lower lid. But really, can everyone attain this look? You bet!All it takes, as we noted earlier, are two things: your favorite colored eyeliner or eyeshadow and CONFIDENCE.The key here is about rocking a beauty trend that most are too shy to try. The best way to go about that is to first, get a flawless cateye look with on-point brows. It’s like being an artist and you want to have a fresh, clean canvas to work with. Part of that means not having messy eyeliner on top of your lid or having uncoifed eyebrow hairs. It’s not easy to get those two items, in fact, it might actually seem a little bit more daunting to perfect your brows and your top lid eyeliner that it is to put a streak of bright blue on your bottom eyelid.Au contraire my friends, au contraire. Here are the steps to pulling off this look and many others.
  1. Get your eyebrows microbladed. You know, it’s that semi-permanent treatment that gives you one-stop shop brows that are stunningly beautiful and beyond easy to manage, which is quite possibly because someone else is doing them for you.
  2. Visit your microblading artist to get a semi-permanent eyeliner treatment that fits your face and works for all occasions. Don’t freak, it’s not a permanent tattoo on your face that will last a lifetime (because we are not advocates of that look). It’s a temporary look that will help you look flawless for months at a time.
  3. Okay, now it’s on to the hard part. Pick your favorite color. You know, what that you absolutely love to wear (clothing wise) — one that gives you uber confidence to do just about anything. Do you have a color yet? Okay, hold onto that and go to step 4…
  4. Prime under your eyes. If you have a tendency to have dark under eye circles or bags, not to worry. Use a multi-colored concealer that will blend well with your skin tone. If you’ve got bags, just dab a little Preparation H gel on them, let dry, then use your concealer.
  5. Start by adding a light layer of your fav color from step 3. Gradually get darker and apply more color until you’ve found the look of your liking.
  6. Voila! Go out and be fiercely confident as you rock that look.
