The best thing about the seasons changing — no matter where you are — is that you have an excuse to change up your beauty and makeup routines. We don’t just mean shopping for summer’s sexiest fashion trends (although that is a favorite pastime as well) but what we’re talking about is freshening up your beauty staples. Try on new looks and check out what’s trending in your area as well as around the world. This summer is no exception as we try on three new looks that have temperatures raising even if you’re in a cold front. From ombre brows to rose smokey eyes, you’ll be so excited to get started on your next new summer eye makeup trends 2018.

Rose Smokey Eye

We all love the smokey eye look that heats up those cooler nights come fall and winter, but when it’s the middle of summer how can you expect to appropriately wear the look? Well, swap out those greys for some rose-colored hues and get to work. The rose smokey eye is the perfect alternative to the heavier makeup look. You’ll make your eyes pop and in a subtle, come-hither way.

Ombre Brow

If you haven’t yet participated in the semi-permanent tattoo brow or microblading brow, no need to worry, but now is the time. The ombre brow is all over the glossy magazines this summer as one of the hottest ways to make your eyes pop without having to draw in our brows every morning. The brows differ from regularly microbladed brows because they are lighter at the thicker part of the brow and naturally blend darker to the thinnest point of the brow. Trust us, this will make your eyes pop even if you don’t have a stick of makeup on.

Wet Lids

The double standard here is wet, dewy (errr, oily) faces especially noses are not so hot, but you can have dewy, wet-looking eyelids. There are a lot of products out there that offer this dewy look, but if you’re after something simple and non-pore clogging, just put on your favorite eyeshadow (stick to neutral tones for this look) and add a layer of Vaseline. This beauty staple should always be in your toolkit because it works wonders. It will add that wet look you’re looking for without causing harm if it gets in your eyes. Plus, it’s pretty thick, so it won’t move or drip during those wet hot nights.
