Microblading Touchup

Effect: Microbladed, microshaded brows, and other cosmetic enhancements perfected after required follow-up sessions

Touchups ensure that you get the most of your microblading treatment, same with all other types of permanent makeup enhancement. If you are on this page because you’ve already had a PMU enhancement, this should’ve been discussed with you by your artist or the microblading establishment that you chose. It is also good to learn more about touchups even if you are still considering a permanent cosmetic enhancement.

Depending on the treatment that you got, the duration and schedule of touchup sessions vary. You will see more information about maintenance for microbladed brows here. Because skin conditions and treatment styles are different for each client, touchups are usually charged per hour. After the required follow-up sessions, your healed results will be at their best. However, you may still need to come for regular touchups after that to ensure they remain looking fantastic.

How are Touch Ups Done?

The touchup procedure will depend on the original enhancement that you received. Your artist may use the same technique or a combination of other methods in order to achieve the desired final results. This may involve lightening or darkening the initially applied pigment, as well as other adjustments.

How Does it Feel While Receiving the Treatment?

Each client experiences varying levels of discomfort during the procedure. It depends on the individual’s pain tolerance and skin sensitivity. In general, clients only feel little to moderate pain. Remember that even though treatments using similar microblading techniques create micro incisions, -they only get to the outer or superficial layers of the skin.
