Wherever you may be, at least on the Northern Continent, then you know that fall has officially arrived. The great thing about fall – not only a personal favorite season – is that it’s time for really rich colors and fabrics layered up to keep the chill in the air away. Plus, it’s a chance to shop for new fall makeup trends and this year, we’re excited to note that there are so many new beauty trends you’ll stay busy trying them all this fall. Check out our hot list of makeup must-haves to achieve the ultimate in fall makeup 2017 trends.

A Lip Affair

Lip colors for fall are very earthy with deep plums, berry browns, and subtle mauves. It seems that the matte lip look is officially off of the red carpet and gloss is in, but don’t worry it’s not the gloss of our younger years with the gooey mess.Speaking of red carpet, another bold lip look is that of the emblazoned red lips. Does this look ever really go in and out of style? Regardless, if you’re looking to make a statement this fall then definitely pick up a tube of bold, classic red lipstick.

All About Those Brows

Think the brow trend is over? Think again. The brow is back as of late and definitely here to stay. Now, some of the more fashionable, err, braver gals are donning looks from glitter and rainbow brows to the bleached blonde, no-brow brow look. Looking for something subtle, then just think bigger, more natural-looking brows. If you’re like a lot of us that naturally have the no-hair-growing-back-brow then check out microblading. This semi-permanent eyebrow makeup look is helping thousands of women get their brows back safely and is not the permanent tattoo look.

Eyes Upon Eyes

In order to get the dramatic eye look that is trending this fall, you do need a nicely framed brow, so make sure not to skip skimming of the ‘All About Those Brows’ section above. Now, there are multiple looks trending this fall, but they all essentially revolve around a very dark, dramatic eye. From two-toned eyeshadows to heavy winged eyeliner as well as bold lashes on both the top AND the bottom. Other trends include a chunky blue eyeshadow – but be wary, this look can easily go south on you and look 1980s drug store eyeshadow blue if you’re not careful. Then again, maybe that’s what you want and if that’s your thing, more power to you!Two of the more favorite eye looks include feathery lashes and smudged eyeliner. It feels so rockstar rebellion that we can’t wait to have an excuse to get our smudge on.

Rosy Cheeks vs. Bronzed Bones (cheek that is)

While they couldn’t be more opposite, the two looks for your cheeks that are trending this fall include the over blush look as if winter’s kiss came early and you’re naturally flushed from the cold air. The other is taking the rosy blush out of the equation altogether and keeping your sun-kissed glow from summer lasting that much longer. That’s right, replace blush with bronzer and sport it well into the end of fall.Whatever look you may choose to don all fall or experiment with for a night out, just know that every look goes quite well with a bold sense of confidence. Do your thing girl and own it!
