Summer is literally just around the corner and it begins the coveted wedding season. You know what we mean. You’ve likely at least one wedding to attend this summer and if you’re going to several then you need to bring your best so you look forever beautiful (as you always do) in those permanent wedding pics of your family and friends. There are four simple ways to get spot on wedding looks. Whether it’s with all natural eyes (think lash lift and tint) to the perfect hairdo, these are the tips you’ll want to follow for the wedding season glam looks.

1. Natural Looking Eyes

Whether it’s an indoor, evening wedding or an outdoor afternoon soiree, you don’t want to bring overly dramatic eye looks to any wedding this season. For 2018, it’s all about natural looking eyes that pop. How do you make your eyes pop without heavy eyeliner and shadow, you ask?! Well, you get polished brows that will naturally bring out your eyes. This coupled with a natural lash lift and tint will really allow your eyes to pop. Add a bit of barely there shimmery shadow and possibly a twist on the smokey eye by using skin toned colors and voila. A look that will appear flawlessly in every photo and one that won’t look dated 20 years from now when everyone looks back at the wedding pics.

2. Glossy & Tinted Lips

While bright red lips may be your thing, think twice before donning that bold look at your friend’s wedding this summer. You don’t want to stand out more than the bride, which is why you want to keep things natural and subtle. Plus, it’s summer, so save those wintery red hues for when the weather chills. For now, choose a nice sheer gloss over a natural peach, rose, or plum tinted lip color. Trust us, it’s all class, all day.

3. Light Foundation (Bring Shine Free Paper, Too)

Go easy on the foundation, if it’s an outdoor wedding you’ll likely sweat it off waiting for the ceremony to begin. Plus, you don’t want to look overly cakey when it comes to photo time. If you need extra coverage, try using a tinted moisturizer with a bit of light powder over the top. Another plus with the powder is to cover shine. Again, summer weddings usually mean some facet of the party will be outdoors. Make sure you slip some shine free papers to blot on your nose just before photos begin or add a swift brush of powder.

4. Polished, Yet Natural Locks

Keep those locks polished and pretty. Whether you keep with the classic up-do or you add a feminine braid or twist, just keep the frizzies locked away. Try using a smoothing serum or a leave-in conditioner spray just before you head to the wedding so you can be dancing queen, without looking like you just got out of the pool.Need to get your brows and lashes done in time for wedding season, click here to get a free consult to cross those to-do makeup looks off your list for the entire summer!
