Runway-Inspired Makeup Trends

Straight off of the Spring 2018 runway, we see bold makeup looks ranging from our beloved designers including Dior and Givenchy to Chanel and Alexander Mcqueen. The trends are popping and we’re watching as they land from the runway into our backyard. While not every look is something that can easily be achieved by every individual all over the U.S., we are certain that the main thing this season is all about the eyes — think groomed brows and lash lifts all around.

Groomed Brows

We LOVE this look! It’s simple and elegant. Make those eyes pop by getting the ultimate groomed brow look. Add a little girly glam to your day and take a throwback to the 1990s when Gwen Stefani sported colorful temporary jewels as the lead singer of No Doubt. Now, we can get away with a subtle teardrop to look utterly divine and sparkly.

Cat Eyeliner To the MAX

We love cat eyeliner and this spring’s look is taking this cat eye look to a bold new level. It’s not about having a subtle cat eye look, instead, go big or go home and slather on that eyeliner.

Blushing Cheeks

Emulating the ‘just worked out’ look, this season’s flushed cheeks in natural rose or peach colors helps add a bit of color to our washed out pale winter looks, which we are so over right now. Instead of jumping straight into the bronzer look, let’s embrace these cheeky look to display a bit of our feminine side.

Extended Liner

If you like the doomsday eyeliner look, but maybe don’t have the cajones to wear it out in public, we hear you. That’s why we are sporting the extended liner look is for us. Create a bold eye look for a night on the town, but subtly. Or at least subtly compared to some of the other looks.
