When it comes to beauty trends, it seems the United States lags a bit behind. Microblading, for example, which has taken the country by storm with everything from its microfeathering eyebrows and ombre brow looks to becoming a revolutionary career path for many looking to undergo microblading training courses and certifications.Now, it seems, that a new trend is underway in Korea and it revolves around microblading. It doesn’t seem that many microblading training facilities are offering the treatment stateside as of yet, but the results (see images below) are pretty incredible.

What Is Microblading Foundation?

Microblading foundation is when you use a specific type of machine to add foundation to your skin that lasts anywhere from several days to several weeks. The treatment is used, just as brow microblading is used, to enhance one’s natural beauty. As seen in the before and after below, the foundation was used to cover some of her blemishes and scars, but matches her overall skin tone while looking completely natural.

Where Can I Get Microblading Foundation?

While it doesn’t seem that microblading foundation is available in the United States as of yet, it is becoming extremely popular in Asian countries like Korea and Japan. For now, it’s likely that microblading foundation isn’t approved for use in the United States. You can, however, get your brows bladed along with your lips and liner.
