When it comes to beauty trends, the last few years have shown us that history does not necessarily repeat itself when it comes to the new eyebrow looks trending on runways and on the cover of magazines. Take a look at some of the most outrageous looks that beauty editors are noting on the streets of fashion-forward cities like New York City, London, Los Angeles and much more. All I can say is I’m so thankful the unibrow isn’t on this list below!Rainbow BrowThis look is very Electronic Daisy Carnival or, as I used to know it, rave makeup. It’s not recommended for the, ahem, everyday wear-to-work look, but it is trending as a unique and bold statement. This is a time-consuming brow and one wrong move could wreak havoc on your makeup handiwork so be prepared not to itch your face, eyes or, for that matter, run into anyone or anything for fear of the smudge. This look is very Electronic Daisy Carnival or, as I used to know it, rave makeup. Well, the glitter brow will get you there and in half the time of the rainbow brow. Just know, you’ll need to wear the glitter as well as you wear your confidence otherwise you will get various looks from other partygoers. Feather BrowNow, last year, we saw the feathered brow where women actually were getting feathers tattooed in the same place as brow hair grows. Some went as far as to get Ivy vines and even barbed wired. That’s one way to take your brow trend to the max, or you could simply take your full, natural brows and create the illusion of a feather with your hair. Again, not for the non-confident, this look takes kahunas. The No-Brow BrowIt’s all about embracing the fact that you have no eyebrow hair left, which is one way of handling the over plucked look. Maybe it can be considered artistic and unconventional, but it has been trending among a small (very small) percentage of the population.According to Vogue, this look also goes well with the smudged lipstick look as the model in the photo is also wearing. Personally, it appears as if a night of one too many cosmos and an accidental flame accident may have resulted in her look, but it could be that I’m not bold enough to pull this chic look off.Caterpillar BrowImagine two very hairy caterpillars crawled up on your face just above your eyes and laid down for eternity. This is the caterpillar brow. It’s been a controversial beauty trend among some who feel it’s a bit much, but others donning the look are probably excited to have eyebrows after the 1990s thin, over plucked brow. All-Natural BrowIt’s the ultimate beauty trend and not just simply because it’s about taking beauty to a natural, woke-up-like-this-look. It’s likely that a general trend toward amplifying a woman’s natural beauty has been heightened to appreciate who we are no matter our appearance. Unfortunately, some of us (this writer included), did participate in the plucking of our eyebrow hairs, which never grew back. Thankfully, microblading is helping us achieve that all-natural brow-beauty look.Interested in a free consultation on your brows?
