Keratin Lash Lift
Want long, perfectly-curled lashes that look natural? The Keratin Lash Lift treatment or K-Lash Lift is a gentle way to give your lashes the “perfect curl”. Your lashes will look distinctly more natural than lash extensions and without the use of glue or adhesives. Perfect for those who have relatively long lashes, the K-Lash Lift will accentuate each individual eyelash, making them appear even longer, and you have the option to add a Lash Tint to make them look darker and bolder. As the treatment is comparable to getting a perm to “lift” your already existing lashes, it is not the best treatment for those with very short eyelashes.
Recommended for:
- Relatively long lashes
- Those who want natural-looking lashes compared to a more dramatic style

How is the K-Lash Lift Treatment Done?
The K-Lash Lift uses Keratin, a popular haircare product, to make the hair in your eyelashes healthy and appear shiny. Your artist will use gentle silicone perming rods around your lashes to lift and curl them and the nourishing Keratin serum will help hold the curl that could last for weeks. It is a simple and practical procedure with little to no discomfort and the results are immediately visible!
How Does it Feel While Receiving the Treatment?
There is very little, if any, discomfort when receiving the K-Lash Lift treatment. Most clients don’t feel any inconvenience for the duration of the procedure. It is a quick process so you will have your brand-new long, fluttery lashes in less than an hour!
Preparing for Your Enhancement:
- Expect to be at the studio for 30 to 45 minutes – Some appointments can take shorter or longer, depending on individual circumstances.
- Make sure to discuss the style that you want to achieve in your lashes with your artist during your consultation so they can recommend the best treatment option
Aftercare & Maintenance
- Your artist will provide you with a list of aftercare instructions and discuss your follow-up appointments.
- Do not apply mascara or other makeup products in your eye area for the first 24-48 hours
- Avoid using waterproof mascara or eyelash curler even after the 48 hours to avoid damaging or weakening your lashes
- Continued regular use of nourishing eyelash serum is recommended to keep your lashes at optimal condition.

FAQs
How Does Lash Lifting Work?
Lash Lifting works by your MicroBladers Artist applying silicone eyelash-perming rods. The rods are applied right above the roots of your upper eyelashes to naturally shape the eyelashes’ curl. The silicone rods are much more effective than a lash roller or curler, which can actually damage your eyelashes over time. Once the silicone rods are in place, the lifting products are applied to help create and secure the curl. It is recommended that an additional growth serum is also applied during this time to help your lashes grow naturally and stronger.
Will Lash Lifting Damage My Eyelashes?
Lash Lifting is a gentler enhancement over other lengthening treatments including lash extensions. Over time, lash extensions can cause wear whereas a lash lift is an all-natural boost to lengthening your lashes.
How Long Does Lash Lifting Last?
Lash Lifting usually lasts an average of 6 to 8 weeks, but it is a customized treatment that will vary for each client. You can receive a refresher of your treatment after 4 weeks, but you’ll want to work with your MicroBladers Artist to determine the best maintenance schedule for your new lovely lashes.
Is Lash Lifting Safe & Sanitary?
At MicroBladers, we require the use of disposable, one-time use tools and follow all proper sanitizing methods to ensure our client’s health and safety are both held in the highest regards.
Our main goal is the happiness and safety of our clients, which is why we also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who may be ineligible for any MicroBladers treatment or anyone whose health may be compromised by the enhancement.
While we do everything to ensure a safe and sanitary treatment, each individual’s skin is unique, adverse reactions aren’t always avoidable, and those prone to allergies or sensitivities should alert their MicroBladers Artist prior to receiving a treatment. Testing the skin may be a necessary step, although an adverse reaction is not entirely avoidable.
What Is Lash Tinting?
Are you tired of wearing mascara that runs or becomes impossible to remove at night? Trying out dozens of mascaras and wasting top dollar on onetime use mascara that promised you the look you want and didn’t deliver is exhausting. Well, those days are over. With Lash Tinting, you and your MicroBladers Artist will determine the perfect color for your lashes, and for 4 to 6 weeks you won’t have to worry about applying mascara because your lashes will look incredible each day. It is recommended to avoid using oil-based makeup removers in order to allow the tint to last longer.
What Are The Differences Between Lash Lifting and Eyelash Extensions?
Lash lifting uses silicone rods to naturally enhance the lashes and provide a curlier or straighter result depending on the natural look of a client’s lashes. Whereas, eyelash extensions use smaller bundles of hair and glue that can cause some wear over time.
How Long Does Lash Lifting Take?
At MicroBladers we’ve found that the duration of a lash lifting treatment does vary per client. On average, though, you can expect the appointment to last approximately 45 minutes. Some appointments may require a full 45 minutes while others will last longer. It will depend on the individual client, so please plan accordingly.
What Is The Aftercare For Lash Lifting?
For the best results, you will want to wait at least 24 hours following your lash treatment to wash around the lash area. Once your lashes are completely dry and it has been at least 24 hours, you can then apply eye makeup. You’ll notice that you likely won’t need to use mascara, as your eyelashes will be curled and gorgeous following a treatment.
What Shouldn’t I Do After A Lash Lifting Treatment?
You will want to avoid waterproof mascara and the use of an eyelash curler. Both will weaken and damage your lashes over time.
Why Do I Want Lash Tinting?
Lash Tinting is for those that don’t want to worry about wasting time using mascara just so it will glob off or give the spidery lash look. Those that are on the go and just want to enjoy an enhancement of their natural look are ideal candidates for Lash Tinting. It goes wonderfully with the Lash Lifting services as well.
